اَللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِى رَجَبَ وَ شَعْبَانَ وَ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَان
‘Allaahumma baarik lanaa fee rajaba wa sha, baana wa ballignaa ramaDHaan.’
“O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).”
[Narrated by at-Tabarani and Ahmad]

Anonymous asked: You should work on your ego problem before people start to hate you Pretty sure people already do. I don’t display my ego problems it’s more of an internal thing. But it may seep out sometimes or people might even get the wrong idea. Like when you act too humble and people think you’re showing off. But Allah knows my intention and as long as He sees I’m trying and is happy with me than I have no problem with what other people think of me. |

Prayer only becomes a burden when there is no Khushoo’, so we must strive to humbly submit ourselves before our Creator and remain steadfast to make the insinuating whispers of the shayateen meaningless and no more of a distraction. Let’s empty our heart out in every prayer and prefer the prayer over anything else, with fear of Allaah, knowing the first loss of the Ummah will be Khushoo’.
