Two More Months Till Ramadan!
اَللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِى رَجَبَ وَ شَعْبَانَ وَ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَان
‘Allaahumma baarik lanaa fee rajaba wa sha,baana wa ballignaa ramaDHaan.’
“O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).”

The video that no one wants to mention
Such a humble, sensitive dude who literally saved lives and all the media (white corporations) & stupid people can think to do is make a joke out of him. Black men can only be clowns or killers regardless of what we do for other people or for ourselves no matter how selflessly it’s done.

The literal meaning of this word is “calmness”, but in religious terminology, [i.e. in regards to the post you’re referring to] it means “to bring about a state of perfect concentration in the heart” so that he does not knowingly allow any thoughts to enter his heart other than the remembrance of Allah.-Mufti Shafi Usmani in his book of Tafseer, Ma’aariful Quran. It can mean to feel humbled. That also reminds me, the post which I reblogged is very important because there’s also a hadith in which Rasulullah (S) says “The first thing that you will lose of your religion is Khushoo’, and the last thing that you will lose of your religion is prayer.” [Al-Madaarij]. Which is kinda scary to me because it actually is true when you look at how most Muslims pray today. |
